Nominated Charity

To help celebrate the 80th anniversary of the manufacture of the Spitfire in Southampton, we are proudly supporting with all charity donations the good work of Southampton’s own independent Solent Sky Museum.
Solent Sky Museum showcases the international importance of aviation history in Southampton and Solent area. The Solent region gave birth to the Spitfire, as well as being the home of the Imperial Airways flying boats.
Between 1910 and 1960 local aircraft manufacturers produced an incredible variety of flying machines, from experimental rocket fighters to hovercraft, helicopters and spacecraft.
Come and see over 20 airframes on display from the golden age of aviation, including the Spitfire and the record-breaking Supermarine S6.
Take a guided tour of its giant Sandringham flying boat, and children and adults alike will enjoy the thrills of sitting in its jet fighter cockpits.
Solent Sky is an independent museum with no revenue funding. They rely on support from the public to remain open. Please consider making a donation or becoming a volunteer - help maintain one of Britain's foremost aircraft collections!
